What you learn
Five areas of how you operate
A KnowMyLogic profile maps the patterns behind everyday behavior — in language plain enough to actually use in a conversation.
How you think
How you take in information, weigh options, and decide you've seen enough to move.
In practice: Why you might ask one more question when everyone else in the room is already ready to decide.
How you act
Whether you tend to move first or plan first, and what changes that.
In practice: Why “let's just start” can feel reckless to you — or why “let's plan first” can feel slow.
How you handle uncertainty
What unanswered questions do to you, and how you respond when no answer is available yet.
In practice: Why a vague “we'll see” can occupy more of your attention than the actual problem.
How you communicate
How direct you are, how much context you give, and how disagreement tends to surface.
In practice: Why helpful directness occasionally gets filed as harshness by people who communicate differently.
How you show care
The form your support takes — and how it can be misread by people who show care differently.
In practice: Why you reach for solutions first — and why some people wanted acknowledgment before answers.
And how the pieces combine
The most useful part of a profile usually isn’t one area — it’s the interaction. A fast decider who shows care by fixing things is a very different person to work with than a fast decider who shows care by listening.
Translation
Where intent and interpretation diverge
One of the most useful parts of a profile is seeing what you meant next to what someone else may have heard. Illustrative examples:
You give a fast, plain answer
Read as: blunt, impatient, or uninterested in their reasoning.
You ask more questions before deciding
Read as: stalling, doubting the group, or needing to be convinced.
You offer a solution to someone who's venting
Read as: wanting them to stop talking, or missing what they needed.
You go quiet when a decision is still open
Read as: checked out — when you're actually still processing.
What to expect
Useful, and honest about its limits
Built from your answers
Everything in your profile is computed by fixed scoring rules from what you report — the same answers always produce the same scores and findings, though the wording may be phrased differently. Answer for how you actually behave — the profile is only as accurate as the answers behind it.
Tendencies, not verdicts
A profile describes patterns, not limits or grades. There are no good or bad profiles — every tendency has contexts where it works and contexts where it costs you.
