Privacy Policy

Account data. Your email address, an optional display name, and account identifiers used for sign-in.

Assessment data. Your individual answers, completion status, and the scores produced from them.

Derived data. Your computed profile (a trait vector), generated explanations, and — only with explicit consent from both people — pairwise comparison reports.

Technical data. Sign-in session cookies and standard server logs needed to keep the service secure and running.

We use your data to run the assessment, save your progress, produce your profile and explanations, recover your results if you leave and return, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your assessment answers for advertising.

Parts of your written report may be generated by an AI provider. The underlying scores are computed deterministically and are not decided by AI. See AI & Automated Processing for details on what is sent and what stays inside the deterministic pipeline.

Your individual question-by-question answers are never shown to other users. Pairwise comparisons, when available, require the other person's explicit consent and share a comparison report — never your raw answers. We do not automatically share your results with employers, schools, parents, or anyone else.

Assessment data is kept so your results remain available and auditable until you delete it or your account. You can delete an individual assessment or your whole account from your privacy controls; deletion removes your responses, scores, and reports from the live database immediately. Routine encrypted backups may retain copies until those backups rotate out under our normal retention practices; a defined backup-retention schedule is still being finalized. We may keep de-identified, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you.

KnowMyLogic is not currently available to children under 13. Users under 18 receive a school-oriented experience, and their results are not shared with parents, teachers, schools, or employers without a separate legal basis. We do not knowingly collect assessment data from anyone under 13.
