The short version of what KnowMyLogic is and how it treats your data.
What is KnowMyLogic?
A self-reflection tool. You answer a set of questions and get a profile of how you tend to think, decide, communicate, and work with others.
How does it work?
Your answers are scored by a fixed, versioned scoring model into a profile across several behavioral dimensions, and that profile is turned into a written explanation.
Is this a personality test?
Not in the label-you sense. There are no types or categories — just measured tendencies on behavioral dimensions.
Is this Myers-Briggs / MBTI?
No. KnowMyLogic does not sort people into type boxes or four-letter labels.
Is this a psychological test?
No. It is not a clinical or diagnostic instrument, and it does not evaluate mental health.
Can KnowMyLogic diagnose ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, or similar conditions?
No. It is not designed or able to detect any medical or psychological condition. For those questions, talk to a qualified professional.
Are some profiles better than others?
No. There are no good or bad profiles — the dimensions describe differences, not rankings.
How accurate is my profile?
It reflects the answers you gave. Results can be incomplete or imperfect, and they rely on your honesty and self-perception. Treat them as a starting point for reflection.
Can my profile change over time?
Yes. Your tendencies can shift as your life changes, and you can retake the assessment.
Why are some questions about school or work?
Questions are written for your context so the situations feel familiar — that's why we ask your age range first.
How long does the assessment take?
Most people finish in roughly 20–30 minutes. You can leave and come back — your progress is saved.
Can I retake it?
Yes.
Does AI decide my personality?
No. Your scores are computed by a fixed scoring model. AI may help write the explanation of those scores, but it cannot change them.
How are my scores calculated?
Deterministically: the same answers always produce the same scores under a pinned scoring-model version. No machine learning is involved in scoring.
Can someone else see my answers?
No. Your individual answers are never shown to other users.
Can my employer see my profile?
Not unless you choose to share it. We do not provide your results to employers.
Can employers use this for hiring?
No. Using results to make hiring, firing, promotion, or similar decisions is prohibited. See the Acceptable Use policy.
Can I compare my profile with someone else's?
Comparison features require the other person's explicit consent. Both people see what will be shared before agreeing.
What information gets shared in a comparison?
A comparison report about how your styles tend to interact — never your raw question-by-question answers.
Can teenagers use KnowMyLogic?
Yes — users 13 and older get a school-oriented experience, and teen results are not shared with parents, teachers, or schools automatically.
Can children use KnowMyLogic?
No. KnowMyLogic is not currently available to children under 13.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. From Account → Privacy you can delete an individual assessment or your whole account.
Can I download my data?
Yes — signed-in users can export their data as a JSON file from Account → Privacy.
Do you sell my personal information?
No.
Do you train AI models on my assessment?
We do not use your answers or profile to train models.
What should I do if my profile feels wrong?
Treat it as a prompt for reflection, not a fact. Your self-knowledge outranks any score — and you can retake the assessment.
Is KnowMyLogic medical advice or therapy?
No. It is a self-reflection and communication tool, not a healthcare service.
